Superintendent

I.E.-Pacific, Inc is a General Contractor working primarily with the Federal Government on military projects. We presently are looking to hire a superintendent for project at 32nd Street, San Diego, CA. The candidate must have an EM-385-40 certification and be familiar with NAVFAC quality control requirements.

Job Tasks: Represents I.E.-Pacific, Inc. in a professional manner at all times. Coordinate and supervises all construction activities from mobilization to project close out.  Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to design/build plans and specifications.  Maintains construction schedule, identify and solve problems with IEP design & construction team.  Represents I.E.-Pacific, Inc. in a professional manner at all times. Coordinate and supervises all construction activities from mobilization to project close out.  Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to design/build plans and specifications.  Maintains construction schedule, identify and solve problems with IEP design & construction team. 

Successful Candidate Requirements:

  • 5 years verifiable similar superintendent experience on similar size project ($3.5M-$7.5M)

  • Must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and clean DMV record

  • Must be able to obtain DBIDS clearance and ICD 705 approval

  • Pre-employment drug/ alcohol testing will be administered

  • Obtain minimum vehicle insurance of 100/300/100

  • CQM cert is plus and EM 385-40 is required

Quality Control Manager

I.E.-Pacific, Inc is a General Contractor working primarily with the Federal Government on military projects. We presently are looking to hire a Quality Control Manager for design-build and design-bid-build projects, who are willing to travel within California and Arizona. The candidate should be familiar with the NAVFAC QCM program.

  • Current QCM cert

  • College degree

  • 5 years+ relative construction experience: ground up construction $10 – $30M+

  • Army Corps of Engineers so RMS/QCS experience a plus

Successful Candidate Requirements:

  • Pre-employment drug/ alcohol testing will be administered

  • Must be able to obtain DBIDS clearance

Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO)

General Contractor working primarily with the Federal Government on military projects. We presently are looking to hire a SSHO Officer to work on a Federal project. The candidate should be familiar EM 385-40.

Job Tasks:

Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) shall perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and safety enforcement for the Contractor.

  1. Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.

  2. Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to stipulated company and project safety policies.

  3. Additional duties as assigned

  • College degree not required but a plus

  • Relative construction experience: $2M-$5M+
